About the Author:
David E. Shapiro has worked as an electrical contractor
and consultant since 1980, and is IAEI- and state-certified as an
inspector and plan reviewer.
He has authored numerous articles on electrical work which have
appeared in publications such as The Washington Post, Practical
Homeowner, New England Builder, EC&M, and IEC Quarterly, and has a
long-running column in Electrical Contractor magazine.
